Initially crafted over 120 years ago, the copper elements and membrane roofing on the New York State Capitol Building were identified for replacement as part of a restoration effort.

Designed by local firm HKP Architects, the new public library, parking garage, and community center are all electric and house the largest public EV charging station in the country. 

Spearheaded by ALSC Architects, the stadium was designed to unify not only multiple facilities and stakeholders, but also the broader Spokane community.

This design resulted in a light-filled cube with a distinctive exterior notable for its minimalist blending of concrete, glass and ribbed metal wall panels.

For a distinctive appearance blending advanced high-tech with approachable, high-touch, EFCO finished the aluminum framing, brake metal and swing entrance doors in a specialty bronze-gold color paint.

Respecting the area’s architectural legacy and historic address, the hotel tower features an aluminum cladding system by Crown Corr finished in a Copper Anodize by Linetec.

A visually striking, adaptable facility that maximizes natural daylight through advanced daylighting systems, creating a bright, energy-efficient space for various tenants. 

The project’s design faced a unique set of challenges due to the compact size and its proximity to the imposing 9 West 57^th Street. Rather than compete in scale, Hill West focused on creating a building that was whimsical and elegant. 

Construction of major building projects in bustling urban areas is always challenging. However, the $700 million Lyrik Back Bay mixed-use development in Boston set a new benchmark for logistical complexity.
