Reoccurring roof leaks were becoming a problem with the original standing seam metal roof at this hub of activity. The project required 4,600 linear feet of Roof Hugger’s Model T, a 4-1/2-inch-tall sub-purlin for typical 24-inch on-center rib trapezoidal standing seam panel.

The construction of the new 770,000 square-foot facility represented Bombardier’s commitment to sustainability. Coinciding with Bombardier’s goal to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, insulated metal panels (IMPs) were a strong choice for the building material.

Increasingly, our schools need to be well-appointed places of modern learning and also durable structures in the event of natural disasters such as Florida’s seasonal hurricanes.

Serving 750 students in grades 5 and 6, Azle Elementary School features several Tubelite aluminum framing systems for resilient, continuous use in the warm Texas climate.

Presenting a welcoming, business-friendly palette, Linetec finished all of Tubelite’s aluminum framing systems using a Light Seawolf Beige color and thermally improved the system for optimal performance in the hot, humid climate.

To refresh its appearance and update its performance, Super Sky teamed with Skylight Partners of America to repair and replace the existing skylight. Where necessary, Super Sky manufactured and installed new aluminum framing systems.

Incorporating perforated metal wall panels that are backlit at night, the facility adds a sense of energy to a neighborhood now experiencing rejuvenation.

Embracing biophilic design principles for the LEED Gold-certified Marion Fire Station in Marion, Iowa, daylighting and views were a major aspect of OPN Architects’ vision for the project. 

Emerald Elementary School in Broomfield, Colorado is a net-zero-ready, public school serving students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Designed and constructed to meet the highest green building standards, the new school supports the district’s aggressive sustainability and energy efficiency goals.

Available in smooth or stucco-embossed finishes and in a variety of durable colors, Thermolite panels add a highly decorative and resilient surface with excellent insulating properties. Panels can be fabricated on-site using standard carpentry tools or factory-cut to meet exact specifications.
