When most people think of New Mexico, they think of the muted adobe buildings of Sante Fe or the famous natural wonders of Carlsbad Caverns or White Sands Natural Monument. 

The restoration of the tower of Independence Hall in Philadelphia has been a fascinating example of the National Park Service’s fierce dedication to preserving the building's structural elements while supplementing and strengthening the historic site with modern building materials.

Environmental responsibility is a primary value for the Bend Park & Recreation District, and it was a critical element in the design of the LEED Gold-certified administration building by Opsis Architecture.
