Designed by The Miller Hull Partnership with local firm Steele Associates, in collaboration with Deschutes Public Library (DPL), the two-story, mass timber building more than doubles the size of the previous library and reimagines it as a vibrant, flexible, and inclusive civic space.
The 166-unit, five-story building features a series of outdoor courtyards that invite fresh air, natural light, and greenery into each unit, ensuring residents are able to enjoy views and connections to nature.
The 148,000-square-foot building will address the ongoing need for housing in Bend as the city experiences unprecedented growth
