Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, hosted its ninth annual “Do What You Can Day,” a day dedicated to giving back to the community, on Wednesday, August 7. 

Known as a leader on climate change action and a longstanding partner at the firm, Gallagher takes the reins for the 12 offices and over 450 professionals in the United States.

The 14 high school and college/postsecondary students will serve as advocates for SkillsUSA and career and technical education and will lead two national conferences, facilitate sessions for students and instructors and advocate on behalf of SkillsUSA.

The 120 scholarship recipients are undergraduates in their junior and senior years, majoring in architecture, civil/structural engineering or construction management/technology across the country.
