Case Engineering Completes Tilt-Up Design on New $10 Million Teklab Facility
In addition to assisting with the building’s tilt-up wall design, Case’s scope also included engineering the facility’s steel framing and foundation

Case Engineering partnered with St. Charles, MO-based Knapp Engineering, LLC on the structural engineering and tilt-up design for the new $10 million Teklab environmental testing laboratory in Collinsville, IL.
Officially opened in February 2026 at 120 United Drive, the 36,500 sq ft, state-of-the-art laboratory provides cutting-edge analytical capabilities and critical environmental monitoring of drinking and ground water, oil and petrochemicals, wastewater, air, pharmaceuticals, soil and more. The veteran-owned company was founded in 1982 in Collinsville, with regional service centers in Kansas City, Chicago and Springfield, IL. The new facility triples the company’s space in Collinsville and expands its lab capacity to accommodate an increase in environmental testing nationwide.

In addition to assisting with the building’s tilt-up wall design, Case’s scope also included engineering the facility’s steel framing and foundation.
