Architects at BNIM designed a striking structure that embraces the inclusive, user-friendly tone of the new airport. Building for the long term, they prioritized sustainability as well. One choice in particular supported both intentions: the facility’s iconic exterior, an elegant glass façade created through BNIM’s collaboration with Bendheim and Längle Glas.

The Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Institute, a $221 million, 265,000-square-foot facility that opened its doors in October 2021, is designed to anchor a bold new initiative that unites private and public resources in the quest for individualized medicine.

The upshot has been a new focus on hybrid work, as well as renewed interest in workplace design. “Resmercial” settings that are homelike and comfortable help to maximize the social benefits of in-person work while easing the adjustment back to the office.
