SAF recently completed the National Fire Protection Association 285 testing and passed for its C-4000 Series, a drained and back-ventilated aluminum composite material rainscreen panel system. SAF’s C-4000 Series system underwent testing in May 2021 and may now be used in NFPA 285-compliant wall assemblies.
ATAS International’s products can now be found in MasterSpec, in addition to BSD SpecLink. MasterSpec is a comprehensive library of specifications that covers over 1700 sections in full-length, short form, and outline formats.
The original specification called for aluminum composite material to match metal wall panels on the building. Cost savings, design options and speed of installation were brought to the table by changing to wall panels.
The $122-million facility is a strong example of the way today’s architects are mixing metal wall panels in varied finishes and profiles to create impressive façade designs.

Norwegian façade-panel manufacturer Steni announced the launch of Steni Vision, its first range of panels available to the U.S. market, according to Steni Export Director Adrian Pye.
