The Brick Industry Association (BIA) announces a new Industry Average Environmental Product Declaration (IA EPD) for clay masonry products including clay brick, structural clay tile, thin brick and clay brick pavers.
Sesquicentennial Hall, which is connected to the existing Busby Hall of Engineering, is a 200,000-square-foot new structure, created to support interdisciplinary engineering and computer science. A key to the success of the project was the exterior aesthetics.
After almost 100 years atop Grace Episcopal Church in Mansfield, Ohio, the heavy original slate tiles were replaced in late 2014 with lightweight polymer roofing tiles from DaVinci Roofscapes.
