The Global Coalition for Green Schools, an initiative of the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council, announced the 2015 Greenest School on Earth.
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), in partnership with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group (C40) and the World Green Building Council (WGBC), released a compendium of briefs that showcase the sustainability, building energy use and climate change policy work of cities across the globe.
In 2009, the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority broke ground on The Green Build terminal expansion, the largest project in the history of San Diego International Airport.
Buildings continue to be the largest consumers of energy, by sector, in the U.S. The USGBC is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to address this.
