Lawrence Group Names Elizabeth Baumgartner Director
The firm hires Elizabeth Baumgartner to lead procurement and drive operational growth

Lawrence Group has appointed Elizabeth Baumgartner as Director of Procurement at the firm's St. Louis headquarters.
Baumgartner brings two decades of experience spanning project management, interior design and business operations. In her new role, she will oversee Lawrence Group's furniture procurement service line, focusing on operational excellence, client engagement and team leadership.
As Director of Procurement, Baumgartner will guide procurement strategy while ensuring operations align with the firm's growth objectives. She will lead initiatives designed to deliver measurable value to clients and strengthen procurement services across the organization.
Before joining Lawrence Group, Baumgartner served as Director of Operations at Westhoff Machine Company in St. Louis. There, she managed budgeting and fiscal operations, helping drive a 15 percent increase in revenue through strategic resource allocation. During her seven-year tenure, she led process improvement efforts across departments, implemented a new inventory management system and streamlined purchasing and delivery workflows.
Earlier in her career, Baumgartner founded Little Black Door Designs, a home decorating retail business, and spent seven years as an interior designer. She also served as Lead Project Manager for River City Studio in Kansas City, where she managed integrated marketing initiatives, including website development, social media programs and digital marketing campaigns.
Baumgartner earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication with a focus on radio and television production from Drake University in Des Moines.
