The Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI), a global nonprofit member organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, and technology of building façades, announced its 2026 Board of Directors, welcoming new leaders and recognizing the contributions of those who have completed their service.

Leading the Institute in 2026 is Attila Arian, who serves as President. A long-standing contributor to FTI and a respected voice in façade engineering, Attila brings deep technical expertise and a strong commitment to advancing innovation and collaboration across the built environment.

Joining the executive leadership are Ron Hull as Vice President and Alberto Franceschet as Secretary, strengthening the Institute’s leadership as it continues to expand its programs, research initiatives, and global engagement.

FTI also welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors: Tony Cinnamon, Jason Danielson, and Thorsten Evenkamp. Their expertise and leadership will support the Institute’s mission to advance innovation, research, and collaboration in façade design and technology.

The Institute also extends its sincere appreciation to Helen Sanders for her dedicated service as President of the Board. During her tenure, Helen provided thoughtful leadership and helped strengthen the Institute’s mission to accelerate innovation in façade design and performance.

FTI would also like to thank outgoing board members Ajla Aksamija, Keith Boswell, and Mic Patterson for their valuable service, leadership, and lasting contributions to the organization and its community.

Under the guidance of the 2026 Board, FTI will continue to expand its programs, including research initiatives, global partnerships, and the upcoming FTI World Congress 2026, which will convene leaders across the façade community to address the future of high-performance building envelopes.
