IIBEC Announces 2025–2026 Board of Directors

The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants in March announced the results of its recent board and officer elections.

The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants on March 9, 2025, announced the results of its recent board and officer elections.

IIBEC President Robért Hinojosa, F-IIBEC, RBEC, RRO, REWO, PE, CDT, passed the president’s gavel to new IIBEC President Chris Dawkins, PE, making Hinojosa IIBEC’s immediate past president. Jennifer Hogan, REWC, RRO, BArchSci, CET, CRE, LEED AP, Certified Passive House Consultant, is IIBEC’s new first vice president, and Burt Carver, RRC, RRO, is IIBEC’s new second vice president. Joining the IIBEC Executive Committee as its secretary-treasurer is Julie Palmer, LEED AP.

New to the IIBEC Board of Directors for 2025–2026 are Region I Director Norm Crouse, RRO, and Region III Director Eric R. Raatz, RBEC, CBECxP, RRO. Re-elected for a second term are Region II Director Nicholas Tribble, RRO, CCI2, and Region VII Director Stephanie Robinson, BASc, PEng. The full IIBEC Executive Committee and IIBEC Board of Directors for 2024–2025 are:

•    President: Chris Dawkins, PE, Beech Consulting Inc.

•    First Vice President: Jennifer Hogan, REWC, RRO, BArchSci, CET, CRE, LEED AP, Certified Passive House Consultant, Pretium Engineering Inc.

•    Second Vice President: Burt Carver, RRC, RRO, Apex Building Sciences Inc.

•    Secretary/Treasurer: Julie Palmer, LEED AP, Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc.

“It’s a great privilege to lead this organization further into its fifth decade,” said Dawkins. “We’ll keep building resilience into the built environment as we adapt to changing standards and a changing world.”

The new board and executive committee were announced during IIBEC’s Annual Meeting of the Members, part of the 2025 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, held March 6–9, 2025, in Orlando, Fla.
