Kebony North America announced it has received approval from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) for its Dually Modified™ wood cladding, according Kebony North America Director Andy Hehl.
“TDI approval is a mark of quality, durability, and safety in Texas for cladding products,” Hehl said. “Inspectors, engineers, contractors, builders, and consumers count on TDI product evaluations to ensure a cladding product complies with TDI-adopted building specifications and the proper installation to resist wind load.”
Although TDI does not endorse products, the department develops product evaluation reports and publishes them online. TDI will also post links to third-party product evaluations reports and TDI-developed product evaluation reports may be used to certify building products used on construction seeking windstorm insurance eligibility through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA).
