DuPont Performance Building Solutions Signs Agreement with HydroBlok to Supply Styrofoam Brand XPS for their HydroBlok One building panel

DuPont announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with Hydroblok, an emerging innovator in lightweight, waterproof, insulated panel systems, to supply Styrofoam Expanded Polystyrene (XPS) for the HydroBlok One building panel. The combination of these two technologies brings to market an innovation that provides unique durability, setting a new industry standard that meets the needs of builders and contractors across North America. Together, the two companies are committed to simplify construction and accelerate installation practices.

Hydroblok has built its reputation and proven its technology in the shower space for over a decade with over 200,000 shower installations in numerous major hotel properties. The Hydroblok [shower] system dramatically reduces labor costs with its simple, one-person setup, making installation fast and easy. The HydroBlok One building panel is engineered for superior water resistance and added thermal performance featuring DuPont Styrofoam Brand XPS in its core.
