The Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, an organization empowering youth in the community to prepare for their futures, received much-needed roof repairs at its community center in Columbus, Ohio, thanks to local roofing company Chemcote Roofing and GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer. After 15 years of persistent leaking issues, the new roof will ensure that young individuals can learn and grow in a safe and dry environment.

“This project gave us a deeper appreciation for Junior Achievement’s mission to prepare high school students for meaningful careers within our local community,” said Brian Hart, Vice President at Chemcote Roofing. “We’re proud to support organizations that invest in the next generation and are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community.”
 
 Junior Achievement provides a safe environment for K-12 students to connect classroom experiences with real-world lessons, focusing on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. The Community Center plays a vital role in supporting this mission by offering a dedicated space for students to learn. Chemcote was made aware of the roofing repair needs by Pepper Construction, a long-standing partner of Junior Achievement for construction and maintenance needs. After assessing the roof's damages, Chemcote collaborated with GAF, who donated materials for the repairs, revitalizing the center and ensuring the program can continue in a safe and dry place.
