Siplast Launches New Below-Grade Waterproofing Solutions
TeraPROOF Pre-Applied Membranes and Post-Applied Membranes are designed for below-grade commercial applications

Siplast, a Standard Industries company, announced the introduction of TeraPROOF™, a full portfolio of high-performance materials for below-grade applications, engineered to create a robust waterproofing solution for commercial buildings. The materials support the company’s growth in becoming a complete building enclosure protection provider for its customers.
The waterproofing solutions include TeraPROOF™ Pre-Applied SBS Membranes and TeraPROOF™ STP Liquid Membrane, along with accessories such as TeraPROOF™ Protection CS1000 and TeraPROOF™ 10-11 Drainage Mat to complete installation. TeraPROOF™ systems are for horizontal and vertical waterproofing applications.
- TeraPROOF™ Pre-Applied SBS Membranes: TeraPROOF™ Pre-Applied V-SBS and H-SBS Membranes are modified-bitumen, heat-weldable membranes for waterproofing applications. Designed for use in below-grade waterproofing systems before the placement of concrete, they consist of polyester mat impregnated and coated with SBS-modified bitumen. The top is surfaced with fine mineral aggregate and the bottom surface is coated with an SBS-modified bitumen adhesive layer specifically formulated for torch-lap sealing applications with a polyolefin burn-off film.
- TeraPROOF™ STP Liquid Membrane: A liquid-applied, single-component, high-solids, flexible waterproofing membrane used in post-applied systems, such as concrete foundation walls, split slabs, inverted roof areas, planters, equipment wells, and other underground construction. It can also be used in detail flashing applications of pre-applied system applications, and used in conjunction with Pro Fleece for reinforcement of the membrane or detail areas.
- TeraPROOF™ Protection CS1000: A composite sheet (CS) utilizing a fleece-back and polymeric membrane. It is designed to protect the waterproofing membrane from puncture from sources such as compacted subgrade below pre-applied waterproofing, backfill damage on post-applied vertical waterproofing, or overburden elements in horizontal waterproofing assemblies.
- TeraPROOF™ 10-11 Drainage Mat: A high-performance, two-layer drainage composite that ensures a continuous path for water discharge and relieves hydrostatic pressure buildup. It features a dimpled drainage core made of impact- and tear-resistant co-polymer polypropylene, fully bonded to a high-strength, needle-punched polypropylene Geotextile, allowing water to pass freely while blocking soil particles to prevent clogging.
“At Siplast, we are proud to offer TeraPROOF™, below-grade waterproofing systems designed for both vertical and horizontal, and pre-and post-applied applications,” said Benjamin Meyer, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Building Enclosure Business Director, Siplast. “TeraPROOF™ is designed to integrate seamlessly with our premium roofing systems, vegetated and amenity systems, and above-grade wall systems. Our portfolio of TeraPROOF™ solutions offers exceptional protection from water intrusion for below-grade structures and enables critical building operations for the occupants.”
Siplast continues to deliver high-performance waterproofing solutions for below-grade applications and is a leading single-source partner for all sides of the building enclosure, offering a full portfolio of waterproofing solutions and streamlining the procurement process.
