An industry publication for AEC professionals, and their editorial team, selected their 75 top building products for 2024. ATAS’ Lineair Plank was included in the list of award-winning products, in the interior products category. The judges reviewed and scored the submitted products based on the following factors:

• Overall potential benefit to project teams (e.g., solves a problem, installs quicker, improves the building design, speeds construction)
• Usefulness to clients/owners/developers (performance, durability, design, ROI, maintenance, etc.)
• Impact on building occupants (health, wellness, safety, productivity)
• Overall innovation within the product category (Is it a “first of its kind?” Does it advance the product category in some way?)

ATAS Lineair Plank was introduced earlier this year.  These beam and baffle metal ceiling panels can be microperforated with a sound absorption material adhered inside for acoustic performance. Available in more than 40 stock 70% PVDF colors, along with woodgrain print coats, these metal ceiling panels have a long service life, are fire resistant, require minimal maintenance, and will not warp, crack, or rot. Linear Plank panels are manufactured in .032, .040, .050, and .063 aluminum. Woodgrain and stucco embossing are optional.

The Witherspoon Student Union building in Raleigh, NC underwent renovations in 2024.  They used the Lineair Plank ceiling panels in custom profiles and in a custom woodgrain 70% PVDF print coat, as shown in this photo.  These aluminum panels are durable and stylish, seamlessly blending aesthetics with functionality, while adding a touch of sophistication to the space.
