October 21, 2024

AkzoNobel’s team of coil coating professionals will be exhibiting and ready to talk with attendees when METALCON 2024 opens on October 30 at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). METALCON runs October 30 through November 1, with workshops offered on October 29, and is widely recognized as the premier tradeshow dedicated to the application of metal in design and construction.

The AkzoNobel booth (#1515), offers METALCON visitors many opportunities for discussion on the latest advancements in coil coatings.

AkzoNobel’s Coil and Extrusion Coatings team will be displaying new applications for CERAM-A-STAR®, the coating with the best silicone-modified polyester technology in the marketplace. A special focus will be on exterior board and batten panels and the CERAM-A-STAR® Expressions coating that features a wood grained texture and print, now in a Standard Palette for easier ordering and project execution.

Visitors to METALCON will see realistic finishes and coating treatments on metal samples to easily visualize the board and batten effect.

Products, sustainability, performance, and warranty details will be emphasized at the AkzoNobel Coil and Extrusion Coating booth.

METALCON promises exceptional opportunities for in-person discussion with industry professionals on the latest innovations and solutions from AkzoNobel. The team is excited to share the excellent performance attributes of its CERAM-A-STAR® technology, including details of CERAM-A-STAR® 1050 Select transferable warranty and No Coastal Setback performance as well as details of how Cool Chemistry technology supports sustainability.

The Select Standard Color Program for CERAM-A-STAR® optimizes business by reducing overall complexity. Based upon a simplified color palette, the program drives volume of standard colors for improved production efficiencies, lower lead times, and greater product availability.

The Canopy App will be demonstrated at the booth so visitors can see how this 3D visualization tool works to support and guide color decisions. It offers advantages that build upon the Select Standard Color Program and paired with CERAM-A-STAR® 1050 Select, it creates fast and easy color matches.
