The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) awarded its first-ever Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Awards on March 10, 2024. Part of IIBEC’s revamped awards program, the Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Awards were presented to consultants in the following categories:
 
Roofing: Gary Nassibian, Allana Buick & Bers Inc., for American Airlines Center Roofing Project in Dallas, Texas
 
Exterior Wall: Charles Sietmann, Building Technology Consultants Inc. (BTC), for Groves of Palatine Condominium Buildings in Palatine, Illinois
 
Waterproofing: Steven Bentz, Building Envelope Consultants and Scientists (BECS), for Space Power Facility Dome Waterproofing in Sandusky, Ohio
 
Building Enclosure: Steven Bentz, Building Envelope Consultants and Scientists (BECS), for The Frick Building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
 
Commissioning: Paul D’Amore, BVH Integrated Services, a Salas O’Brien Co., for Winooski School in Winooski, Vermont
 
 “This new award celebrates the cream of the crop among building enclosure consultants," said IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch. "These remarkable projects showcase the work of IIBEC members, who have provided great examples of the important role building enclosure consultants play in these projects.”
 
 The 2024 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show was held March 8–11, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.
