Precis Engineering, Inc., an MEP engineering firm headquartered in Ambler, Pa., with offices in Cary, N.C., and San Diego, Cal., has hired Timothy Lisle, AIA, as Director of Process Architecture. Lisle’s hire brings in-house process architecture expertise, supplementing the firm’s process and building engineering disciplines.

“Tim will work closely with our engineering disciplines and our clients to provide highly responsive, innovative solutions that address their specific project needs from inception to full design and project execution,” said Precis Founding Principal and President Robert Dick, PE. “By having an architect on staff, we can also support our architectural clients with shared perspective and design support.”

Tim has more than 35 years of experience in process architecture within the life science, technology, industrial, and public safety markets. His areas of expertise include pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing facility programming, master planning, conceptual development, and design. As Director of Process Architecture, Tim leads the process design efforts on complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects, including various types of drug development and manufacturing facilities.

Tim holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Architecture and Environmental Science from Auburn University and architectural registration in six states. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA), Lower Merion Township Uniform Construction Code Appeals Board, and Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia Repair Committee, and serves as a visiting architectural critic at Drexel University, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
