As Pfluger Architects continues to grow and expand our leadership, we are pleased to announce the promotion of four team members to Senior Associate. The talents, experience, and leadership displayed by each of these individuals exemplify why "Our people are the difference."

Cliff Trinkaus, AIA, RID, is a Senior Project Manager working out of Pfluger's Austin Office. He works throughout Central and South Texas, leading project teams from Llano to Corpus Christi. Cliff is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has been with Pfluger for 35-years. "Schools that Cliff worked on early in his career are cycling back through. Now he's renovating those same campuses to bring them up to today's standards," said Brad Pfluger, CEO. "The continuity Cliff brings to our projects makes him an invaluable asset to our firm and
the districts for whom we work."

Manuel "Manny" Garza, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, works out of Pfluger's San Antonio Office. He is a Senior Project Architect and a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. In his 16-year career with Pfluger, Manny has specialized in LEED facility design. He is proud of his work on Cibolo Green Elementary School—the first LEED Gold certified elementary school in Texas. "Manny's singular, consistent approach to design addresses practical implications like budget, program, and constructability, as well as aesthetic refinements like thoughtful space planning, lines of sight, and natural light," said Carr Hornbuckle, Managing Principal of Pfluger's San Antonio office. "He's driven by his own insistence on quality—both in design and documentation—on every project."

Joshua Newton is a Senior Project Manager on Pfluger's Higher Education Practice Team. Josh received both a Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He has been with Pfluger for a year, but brings 15-years of experience, mostly in Higher Education Project Management. Chris Lammers, Managing Principal of Pfluger's Higher Education Practice, said, "The honor of being named Senior Associate is well deserved. Having managed a wide variety of collegiate projects, Josh provides our clients with a deep understanding and expertise in this project type. His professionalism and focus on the needs of each client are consistent with the values of Pfluger."

Michael Elmore, AIA, LEED AP, is a 41-year veteran in the architectural field. Joining Pfluger in April of 2020, Mike is a Senior Project Manager for Pfluger's new Dallas-Fort Worth office. A graduate of Kansas State University, his experience ranges from elementary to higher education project types. Terry Hoyle, Managing Principal of Pfluger's Dallas office, said, "I have had the privilege of working with Mike for more than a decade. He is highly respected for his thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and ability to build teams based on mutual respect. I couldn't be happier that he chose to join Pfluger."
