Metacrylics has introduced a new yellow coating system that allows installers to create distinct, walkable paths to roof areas and access points that require routine maintenance. WalkwayYellow provides a textured surface, protecting the roof from damage caused by repeated foot traffic.

Gary Rosenfield, Vice President & General Manager of Metacrylics, commented, “We are excited to offer this additional product to our coatings line. We believe it adds significant value, and saves the cost of walkway pads required on many commercial roofs.”

WalkwayYellow can be installed on coated and non-coated roofs as an alternative to solid walkway products. Because it is liquid applied, WalkwayYellow allows for custom walkway paths to better accommodate the roof layout. WalkwayYellow can also be used to clearly identify roof edges, equipment, and other areas to avoid.

WalkwayYellow meets the ANSI A137.1 dynamic coefficient of friction requirements in the international building code. For more information, visit www.metacrylics.com.
