As part of organizational changes previously announced by OMG, Inc. to accelerate growth, the Company has named Peter Coyne to the newly created position of senior vice president and general manager for the Roofing Products Division.

In this role, Peter is responsible for developing and executing the division’s overall strategy for the three recently created divisional business units– Fasteners, Adhesives & Solar, and Metal Accessories, which includes Edge Metal. In addition, Peter is responsible for overseeing Roofing Products’ new product development and innovation group, and its global sales and marketing teams, including key-account sales, customer service and technical support.  He reports to Hubert McGovern, president and CEO of OMG.

Peter joins OMG from Gulftech International, a diversified holding company with five operating businesses serving food production and processing companies in 85 countries.  Working in the company’s Denver, Colorado headquarters, he served as general manager and head of operations following various roles in finance and operations with Danaher Corporation, Saw Mill Capital, and Steel Partners.  Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from The College of William & Mary, and an MBA from The Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia.
