The nationally renowned women-owned consultancy focused on innovative building solutions, Cerami & Associates Inc., announced that Michael Ferrara has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.
 
In this new position, Ferrara will lead business operations and growth strategies for Cerami, a leading provider increasingly recognized for its creative integration of technologies to boost client outcomes.
 
As the firm grows and approaches 100 team members in three offices, Victoria J. Cerami, CEO, says Ferrara brings proven success in building teams with a focus on learning, empathy, and passionate responsibility, a guiding Cerami principle. “Michael is a multifaceted executive with proven success in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining business processes, and leading organizations through innovative transitions,” says Cerami. “We’re delighted to welcome him to our team.”
 
Cerami & Associates has seen increasing growth of its award-winning practice in acoustics and technology with the expansion of its offices in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., and with the addition of industry-leading capabilities in acoustical solutions and integrated technology strategies. As the firm enters its 51st year in business, it looks to continue developing innovative ways to help their clients plan and experience their building projects using Cerami’s immersive acoustics lab and virtual technology modeling.
 
Michael Ferrara was previously Partner and Chief Operating Officer for DOAR, a litigation and trial consulting firm. He also led DOAR’s purchase of ACE Audiovisual, which continued to position the company as a leader in specialized legal technology systems. His prior background was with various large engineering and construction firms, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College.
