Breaking News Image #1
August 9, 2016

Assemble Systems, the leading provider of Construction Data Management solutions announced today that Donald R. Henrich has been named Chief Operating Officer for the company.  In his role as COO, Don brings extensive experience in building organizations and market share for their products and will be responsible for strategy, marketing, sales, and customer success. Mr. Henrich most recently was head of Global Sales for Trimble Navigation’s General Contractor business where he led a team of employees and partners marketing, selling, and supporting the Trimble Buildings portfolio.  Mr. Henrich joined Trimble in 2012 via the acquisition of Vico Software which he cofounded.  Prior to starting Vico, he was Vice President and General Manager of Graphisoft US, whom he joined in 2004 and where the ideas for 5D BIM emerged.

Don’s prior industry experience includes start-ups as well as his role as President and CEO of SET, a privately held software tools company funded by Charles River Ventures and acquired by MKS Inc.  Before SET he was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Parametric Technology Corporation, a world leading engineering software company, headquartered in Needham, MA, where he also held General Manager positions running Asia and Europe. Mr. Henrich was also cofounder of MatrixOne, now a subsidiary of Dassault Systemes of France. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

“Today, over 100 of the top General Contractors are Assemble customers with that number growing rapidly” said Mr. Henrich.  “There is a huge opportunity at Assemble to help Contractors, EPC companies, Owners, and other Agencies improve their use of and access to 3D data for construction planning and project management.  We believe that an easy to use, ubiquitous platform for models, drawings, and engineering data is a key enabler in unlocking huge productivity gains for our customers and partners.”

“We are extremely pleased to announce Don’s decision to join our team,” commented Howard Davis, CEO of Assemble Systems.  “Don’s extensive knowledge of the high-tech industry coupled with his proven entrepreneurial and management skills are enormous assets to our growing organization.  His leadership of our client-facing organization speaks to Assemble Systems ongoing commitment to provide superior service to our clients. Don brings an additional dimension to our team, and we look forward to working with him as we continue to grow in commercial construction and expand into EPC and Civil construction opportunities.”
