The S/L/A/M Collaborative (SLAM), a national fully-integrated multi-disciplinary architecture firm, has partnered with Pendulum of Kansas City, Mo. to become the official architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry sponsors of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). In the 77 years since its inception, the ECAC has emerged as the nation's largest Conference, ranging in location from Maine to Georgia, and westerly to Missouri. In 2015-16, the ECAC hosted nearly 100 championships in men’s and women’s sports as the sponsors of over 5,800 varsity teams and 111,000 student-athletes.

Most recently, the firms have teamed on the design of Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, Mich., a $15 million 2,500-seat baseball stadium; Willy Horton Field of Dreams—the new headquarters for the Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL), a youth training center in Detroit, Mich. that is the historic site of Navin Field/Tiger Stadium; and Dunkin’ Donuts Park in Hartford, Conn., a $60+ million, 6,000+ seat AA-Minor League Baseball stadium. SLAM is also the design architect of the Notre Dame Campus Crossroads project involving the design of a $450 million, 823,000-square-foot expansion of the historic football stadium—the largest building project in the University’s history.
