More Than 78 percent of Show Floor Assigned During IRE Early Space Draw

June 5, 2013

DALLAS — Momentum for the 2014 Int’l Roofing Expo (IRE) is rapidly growing as evidenced by the success of its annual Early Space Draw, where 78 percent of the total show floor was assigned.

“A total of 275 companies were assigned 814 booths during the Early Space Draw process,” IRE Director Lindsay Roberts said. “The show floor is already tracking 6 percent larger than the 2013 show, and there is still more than eight months of selling time until the show.”

Participating companies were pleased with being part of the Early Space Draw process. “Int’l Roofing Expo is our most-anticipated show of the year,” said TRUFAST Marketing Brand Manager Kara Boots. “Securing a prime booth space is a major part of the plan.”

“Maze Nails is proud to be exhibiting in the 2014 Int’l Roofing Expo,” Marketing Director Kim Pohl said. “We have exhibited over 10 years, and have found this show offers top-quality networking and excellent leads.”

“Technology changes rapidly, and the Int’l Roofing Expo is our opportunity to showcase the new technology solutions that we have developed over the last year,” said Karen Edwards, marketing director at EagleView Technologies and Pictometry International. “Int’l Roofing Expo is a great venue, where we can connect with our existing customers and engage new ones.”

Exhibiting companies who were assigned booth space include GAF, ABC Supply, Johns Manville, Metalforming, Firestone Building Products, Carlisle, 3M, ADCO Products, TAMKO Building Products, Karnak, USG, TRUFAST, Capital Safety, Atlas Roofing and EagleView Technologies, with inquiries and booth reservations continuing to pour in daily.

Exhibitors returning to the show after an absence of a year or more include On Center Software, Benjamin Obdyke, Columbia Green Technologies, Metacrylics Roof Coatings, Lorex, Innovative Insulation, ERICO, ASC Building Products/ EP SPAN and Giuffre Bros. Cranes.

Also participating in Space Draw were first-time exhibitors including AmeriLux, BlueWater Mfg., Building Products of Canada, ExakTime, Premium Spray Products, Roof Management, Wuko Maschinebau GMBH and Kemper System America.

“The number of companies committing to booth space this far in advance of the show is quite impressive,” said Bill Good, executive vice president of NRCA the show’s official sponsor. “This promises to be another exciting, must-see event for the roofing industry.”

The 2014 International Roofing Expo will be held Feb. 26-28, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. For more information, visit www.TheRoofingExpo.com/attendee.
