2013 IRE Assigns More than 75 Percent of the Show Floor During Early Space Draw

June 7, 2012

DALLAS — Building off the buzz from another successful show in February, the 2013 International Roofing Expo [IRE] recently staged its annual Early Space Draw, assigning 75 percent of the total show floor.

Tracking two months ahead of the last year’s Early Space Draw numbers, a total of 233 companies were assigned 738 booths, taking 73,800 net square feet.

“Taking place three months prior to the general Space Draw, the Early Space Draw process allows exhibitors to secure the lowest possible booth rate and the best possible location on the show floor,” said Lindsay Roberts, director of the Expo. “The general Space Draw in July is the next chance exhibitors have to secure space before it becomes first-come, first-served, so companies who want to secure space should submit their contracts now.”

Exhibiting companies who were assigned booth space include ABC Supply, Owens Corning, GAF, ADCO Roofing Products/Millennium Adhesives, CertainTeed Corporation, Malarkey Roofing Products, S-5!, Polyglass USA, Soprema, TENNSMITH, Johns Manville, Karnak, Dataforma Inc., OMG Roofing Products, Firestone Building Products, Englert, with inquiries and booth reservations continuing to pour in daily.

“ADCO Roofing Products & EternaBond are pleased to be back at the Int’l Roofing Expo,” said Jim LaBenne, marketing communication manager. “This event has proven to be an excellent venue to introduce new products, showcase ADCO Roofing Products technology and expertise, and network with customers and industry leaders.”

“ES Products had our best show ever at the 2012 Int’l Roofing Expo,” said Fred Hall, president. “We signed up for additional space in 2013!”

Exhibitors returning to the show after an absence of a year or more include Houston Foam Plastics, Enviroshake, Quicksilver Engineering, and STS Coatings, as well as TAMKO Building Products, who is once again exhibiting after a 12-year absence.

The 2013 International Roofing Expo will be held Feb. 5-7, 2013, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

“Our members are really excited about the 2013 show being held in San Antonio,” said Bill Good, executive vice president of NRCA, the show’s official sponsor. “The number of companies committing to booth space this far in advance of the show is quite impressive.”

The general Space Draw will take place beginning July 16, so companies interested in exhibiting can still apply for booth space. The Booth Contract, Floor Plan, Sponsorship Gallery and Exhibitor Flyer can be accessed by visiting www.TheRoofingExpo.com/Exhibitor.
