The Formabond II system combines the beauty and popularity of an industry standard Metal Composite Panel (MCM) with the leader in metal wall systems. For convenience, this new metal composite material panel (MCM) system is installation ready and lightweight; and because of its dry seal construction, there is no costly exterior wet seal maintenance required. The panels feature CENTRIA’s unique horizontal dry seal joinery to minimize water penetration and maximize ventilation. This innovative design improves the integrity of the application by reducing the chance of entrapped moisture behind the rainscreen, which minimizes the potential for material degradation and mold. FormaBond II demonstrated its high performance capabilities under the American Architectural Manufacturer’s Association’s 509-09 test and classification method for drained and back-ventilated rainscreen wall cladding systems.
