MFM adds WUI fire rating for Ultra HT roof.

Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) announced the winners of the 2026 Excellence in Asphalt Roofing Awards.

MFM Building Products recently achieved a Class A Fire Rating for use with Class A standard 3-tab and architectural asphalt shingles per ASTM E108/ICC-ES AC188.

The building has a complicated hip roof design with several gabled dormers and valleys, as well as four cupolas around the structure. In total, the roof was over 29,000 square feet and was covered in both asphalt shingles and metal shingles.

MFM Building Products recently issued an updated Roofing Underlayment Systems brochure, which outlines the company’s full complement of steep-slope, self-adhering underlayment products.
