Content Is King: Come to IRE a Day Early for Community Service Day
This year’s International Roofing Expo (IRE) will take place in Las Vegas Feb. 26-28, but you’ll want to arrive a day early to participate in Community Service Day. Held Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event helps repair and renovate homes of those in need.
All types of people are welcome. Those with construction skills will handle restoration projects and painting, while unskilled laborers can help with set up, cleanup and other projects.
This year, the IRE is teaming up with with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada, a nonprofit, volunteer-based program that repairs and rehabilitates homes and nonprofit community facilities, as well as NRCA’s Disaster Relief Committee. The event is sponsored by Sika Corporation – Roofing, and lunch is provided by OMG Roofing Products. It’s a great event, and I’ll be covering it for Roofing Contractor.
