S-5! Introduces New Clamp for Easy Attachment to Metal Roofs

The S-5-TH has undergone rigorous testing to meet the industry’s most stringent standards, ensuring a secure attachment with a product that is warranted for the life of the roof

S-5!, the inventor of engineered, manufactured, metal roof attachments, introduces its new S-5-TH™ clamp for attaching a wide range of rooftop accessories to T-shaped metal roof profiles.

The S-5-TH, where “H” stands for Hinge, is a non-penetrating clamp that is designed specifically for solar PV and lighter-duty attachments – like conduit and piping – on commercial T-shaped metal roofs, including the McElroy Metal Trap Tee and Morin® SymmeTry®.

Ensuring a reliable connection that maintains the integrity of the roofing system, its single-piece design clips over the roof’s rib and allows for thermal cycling of the roof panels. The zero-penetration clamp design eliminates the risk of leaks and leaves the roof manufacturer’s warranty intact.

As with all S-5! clamps and brackets, the S-5-TH has undergone rigorous testing to meet the industry’s most stringent standards, ensuring a secure attachment with a product that is warranted for the life of the roof.

S-5-TH Key Features:

  • Exclusively for T-shaped metal roof profiles, offering unmatched holding strength
  • Zero-penetration attachment to preserve roof integrity and allow for roof thermal cycling
  • Living-Hinge Design means fewer components and no inserts to manage, providing faster, easier installation with lower labor costs
  • Pairs easily with S-5! PVKIT rail-less solar mounting solution, also compatible with rail-based systems for maximum flexibility
  • Attaches a wide range of rooftop ancillaries, including solar, conduit and piping
  • Made from 6000 series aluminum for excellent durability and corrosion resistance
  • Secure and warranted long-lasting quality for peace of mind
  • Backed by S-5! for trusted design, service and brand integrity

“We’re excited to introduce our new clamp designed specifically for T-shaped metal roofs,” said Rob Haddock, CEO and Founder of S-5! “At S-5!, we focus on creating solutions that solve real problems and make our customers’ jobs easier. This clamp is a simple, effective solution to a common need we’ve seen in the field.”
