Detec Systems announced a stocking distributor partnership with Johns Manville. TruGround® Conductive Primer will now be incorporated into Johns Manville’s JM Peak Advantage Guarantees. The addition of TruGround enables JM assemblies to incorporate Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) testing into their existing maintenance program through the JM Guarantee.

Available in 5-gallon buckets, TruGround is designed for installation directly below the membrane. The primer must be used in addition to the membrane adhesives and is not intended to replace the adhesive in the roofing assembly.

TruGround has been tested and certified by both Factory Mutual (FM) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Approved use in roof assemblies can be found in RoofNav, UL Evaluation Reports, and the Florida Building Code.

To be eligible for the JM Guarantee, TruGround must be purchased through Johns Manville. Leak detection testing services must be coordinated through Detec Systems or a Detec-certified ELD testing agency.
