Innovation is not simply the use of EIFS—it’s how the system solves design or performance challenges. Judges value projects that demonstrate creative thinking and practical solutions. 

Consider these points:

•    Pushing Boundaries: Did EIFS replace heavier or less efficient materials, or was it applied in a new way? 

•    Problem-solving: How did EIFS help meet cost, schedule, or performance requirements while maintaining design intent? 

•    Collaboration: Document the teamwork between contractors, manufacturers, architects, and owners that contributed to the project’s success. 

Link each innovative approach back to tangible results—such as improved energy performance, reduced cost, or enhanced design flexibility—to strengthen your submission.
