February 13, 2025

Polyglass U.S.A., Inc. announced the expansion of its Bright White line of Kool Roof Solutions. This expansion introduces new high-performance reflective roofing membranes, liquid-applied coatings, and accessories, providing even greater versatility to meet stringent energy efficiency requirements.

Cutting-Edge Cool Roof Technology for Maximum Energy Savings

As part of its Kool Roof Solutions, Polyglass now offers an even broader selection of Bright White roofing membrane systems, meeting a wide range of Solar Reflective Index (SRI) requirements. With initial SRI values ranging from 85 to 96, these products help projects comply with major energy codes and ordinances such as Miami 21, LEED®, Title 24, Denver Green Building Ordinance (GBO), and the Chicago Building Code.

Next-Level Reflectivity: Premium Bright White Solutions

At the forefront of Polyglass’ innovative offerings is the Polyfresko® line, featuring the company’s highest-reflectivity roofing membranes.

Powered by proprietary granule technology and Polyglass’ patented CURE® Technology, Polyfresko® delivers industry-leading energy efficiency, superior granule retention, and long-term durability. Designed to withstand extreme UV exposure, this premium solution is also LA County-approved for enhanced compliance.

Truly versatile, Polyfresko® is available in APP or SBS formulations and supports multiple installation methods, including self-adhered and heat-welded/torch-applied applications, allowing contractors to select the ideal option for their project's climate and performance needs. For added fire protection, Polyfresko® is also offered in Fire Rated (FR) and High-Performance Fire Rated (HP FR) versions, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards while maintaining superior energy efficiency.

Smart Roofing Solutions for Everyday Bright White Applications

For versatile cool roofing applications, Polyglass offers:

  • Elastoflex® S6 G – A superior SBS-modified bitumen membrane with a non-woven polyester reinforcement, ideal for cold applied and hot mop applications, featuring Bright White granules to meet most cool roof requirements.
  • Polyflex® G – An APP granulated cap sheet designed for heat-welded applications, providing exceptional cool roof reflectivity with the durability of a multi-layer system.
  • Polyflex® SA P – A self-adhered APP membrane, featuring ADESO® Technology and Bright White granules, combining innovation with ease of application.

Seamless Protection: Liquid-Applied Coatings That Extend Roof Life

To complement its expanded membrane offerings, Polyglass introduces an extended range of liquid-applied elastomeric roof coatings in Bright White, providing building owners and contractors with cost-effective solutions for extending roof life, improving reflectivity, and meeting energy efficiency goals.

These advanced coatings offer excellent weather resistance, UV protection, and long-term durability, making them ideal for restoration and maintenance projects. By forming a seamless, protective barrier, these coatings help prevent premature roof deterioration, minimize the need for costly repairs, and extend the lifespan of existing roofing systems – ultimately reducing long-term maintenance costs.

Essential Accessories for Long-Lasting Roof Performance

Further optimizing installation and long-term performance, Polyglass provides specialized roofing accessories designed for enhanced protection, sealing, and maintenance.

The Detail & Repair Finish is designed to improve granule retention and abrasion resistance when installing Polyfresko® systems. Polyglass’ popular Polyflash® 1C flashing compound provides a permanent, high-performance seal across all Bright White roofing systems.

With these essential components, Polyglass helps contractors achieve superior durability and seamless integration across all Bright White systems.

Advancing Energy Efficiency & Innovation in Roofing

With the expansion of its Bright White Kool Roof Solutions, Polyglass continues its commitment to energy efficiency and innovation. By offering industry-leading cool roof technology, Polyglass helps building owners and contractors achieve optimal roof performance while meeting modern energy codes and environmental goals.
