BITEC Adds New Base Sheet to Self-adhered Product Line

BITEC, Inc. will be introducing its Imperflex® SA2 two-square self-adhered base sheet at the International Roofing Expo (IRE), in response to contractor requests for a two-square option for installing BITEC’s popular Imperflex self-adhered SBS-polymer modified bitumen system.
According to Joel Shealey, president of BITEC, “The SBS-polymer modified Imperflex roofing system offers roofers the convenience of a self-adhered solution, but until now they’ve been limited to our Imperflex USA 1-½ square smooth-surfaced base sheet. The new SA2 version provides the same high level of installation efficiency, while offering contractors a convenient 2-square alternative.”
Shane Millwood, BITEC’s vice president of sales reports, “BITEC has never compromised on the original high-quality formulations used in our mod-bit systems. The new Imperflex SA2 base sheet is a welcome extension of the Imperflex product line.”
