Construction Specialties (CS) has realized a performance louver that meets the most rigorous safety standards in the world. This newest product raises the bar on quality and aesthetics in the CS promise to make buildings better.
Miami-Dade County Certification
The newly certified DC-PL-3704 Perform Louver offers protection for buildings located in storm and hurricane-prone regions that require compliance with some of the highest safety standards possible. The louver has achieved Dade County Certification meaning it has subjected to and passed a series of Testing Application Standards (TAS) including impact, cyclical wind and static wind. During these tests, none of the components of the louver can come loose, or they would be considered wind borne debris. The DC-PL-3704 is the first louver of its kind in the world to meet this standard and achieve this certification.
SPECS: DCPL-3704 Perform Louvers
- 5 3/8” total depth
- Up to 140 PSF 5’ sections, 100 PSF 8’ sections, 60 PSF in 10’ sections, and 40 PSF in 12’ sections.
- Available in a 3/8" hole pattern (47.9% free area) and a 1” hole pattern (53.2% free area).

With its perforated skin, Perform Louvers can integrate into any curtain wall system and is engineered to work in harmony with interior louver blades. CS is the first and only manufacturer to offer a fully concealed louver system with Dade County Certification.
