Knauf Insulation Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Texas
Knauf Insulation, Inc., a leading, family-owned global manufacturer of building materials announces the opening of its new, state-of-the-art facility in McGregor, Texas, bringing Knauf’s manufacturing network to eight locations across the United States.
Three years in the making, the facility is equipped with the latest in manufacturing technology and tools. Within the 600,000 square foot facility, Knauf intends to produce and distribute a wide range of Performance+® fiberglass building insulation for commercial and residential use.
McGregor, TX was chosen as the site for this new facility due in part to its central location, access to a great workforce and an incredibly supportive community. This Knauf investment brings nearly 200 jobs to McGregor as well as a lasting, positive impact to the local economy.
