The Northeast chapter of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) has named Sarah Patrie, PE, as its new executive director. In her new role, Patrie will advance PCI’s marketing, technical, and educational efforts in New England and New York State.

Before joining PCI’s Northeast chapter, Patrie was vice president of transportation services at the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of New York State, serving as a technical expert addressing New York’s political, legal, and regulatory impacts on the construction industry. Before joining AGC, she was senior project manager and engineer at D.A. Collins Construction Co Inc. She is a licensed professional engineer in New York, and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University.

“I am thrilled to join PCI Northeast,” Patrie said. “I am committed to supporting our members and advancing awareness through education in the benefits and use of precast concrete for design, construction, and shaping a sustainable future here in the Northeast.”

She replaces Rita Seraderian, who recently retired after dedicating 35 years to advancing the use of precast concrete across New England and New York.
