YKK AP America announced it has appointed three new hires to its commercial architectural sales team. Philpatsy Agwu and Jessica Rios join as architectural sales representatives for the state of Indiana and Texas, respectively. Richard Lopez joins as manager for the Orlando branch. These appointments will contribute to the company’s growth in key markets.

Agwu is an AIA and LEED Green Associate with expertise in institutional, educational and commercial architecture. Most recently, she served as an architectural technical sales representative for Seward Associates in Indianapolis. At YKK AP, she will be part of the Cincinnati branch, with a focus on sales and customer relations in the state of Indiana.
Rios has spent her career in the glazing industry. After eight years with YKK AP in project management and operations management roles, she went to work for a reputable contractor. She rejoins YKK AP as an integral part of the Dallas branch’s sales team.
Lopez is a seasoned Operations Manager with more than 15 years of experience in the glazing industry. His proven expertise in data-driven analysis to enhance and streamline workflows combined with his collaborative leadership approach has been successful in enhancing critical business operations, boosting team morale and staff retention, and surpassing revenue goals. In his new role, he will lead overall operations, with a focus on strengthening sales and service to create a competitive advantage in the Florida market.
