Westlake Royal Roofing Announces Two Launches for IRE 2024

Westlake.jpg
January 25, 2024

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions™, a leader in efficient and durable roofing systems and components, will exhibit at the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE) being held February 6 through 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The roofing materials leader will feature a variety of its solutions in booth #5335 including selections from product lines Newpoint™ Concrete Roof Tile, US Tile® Clay Roofing Products, Unified Steel™ Stone Coated Roofing, DaVinci® Roofscapes, and Westlake Royal™ Roofing Components. Additionally, the company will showcase two important launches at the show – the Unified Steel Material List Generator and new Unified Steel Cool Roof Colors.

“Our team looks forward to meeting with roofing contractors and attendees of International Roofing Expo every year,” says Eric Miller, vice president of sales for Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions. “This time around we have two new important Unified Steel launches to share with attendees, and we will also honor the seven winners of the 2023 DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor®  Project of the Year Award.”

The first of Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions’ two launches at this year’s IRE is its Unified Steel Material List Generator. An interactive tool that auto-generates a roofing product list,[1] the intuitive system significantly simplifies the estimating process for both Unified Steel Stone Coated Roofing, the ultra-lightweight roofing system that benefits from the structural strength of steel, as well as Westlake Royal Roofing Components, a range of integrated roof components designed to deliver a higher standard of roof installation and performance. The Material List Generator integrates seamlessly with roof measurements acquired traditionally or through 3D and geospatial measurement generating software solutions and there is no cost to builders and contractors who use it.

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions will also feature its new Unified Steel Cool Roof Colors, two hues rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC), at the show. Each color provides high solar reflectivity and high thermal emittance when solar energy hits the roof surface, detracting sunlight and radiating heat off the roof surface. The colors exceed California Energy Code (CEC) Title 24 Part 6 Cool Roof Requirements and, with a Solar Reflective Index (SRI) greater than 20, also meet Los Angeles County’s more stringent SRI requirements. The new colors, Harborwood™ and Stirling Gray™, are offered in both PINE-CREST Shake and PACIFIC Tile® profiles.

Robust displays of the company’s core product lines will also be viewable in-booth. In addition to Unified Steel and Westlake Royal Roofing Components, these include composite shake and slate product lines from DaVinci Roofscapes; Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile, a durable concrete line known for its superior strength and long-lasting beauty; and US Tile Clay Roofing Products, a legacy line of clay tile manufactured to the highest standard of sustainability and craftsmanship.

DaVinci will recognize roofers from coast-to-coast who have received the 2023 DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor Project of the Year Awards. Six residential projects and one commercial project have received the prestigious award. Qualifications for DaVinci Masterpiece Contractors to obtain the award include excellence of installation work, outstanding visual impact and ability of the roofing work to transform the look of a home or commercial project.

2024 IRE also marks the inaugural year for Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions to launch its Platinum sponsorship of National Women in Roofing, the volunteer-based organization that enhances the careers of women in the roofing industry. Support of the organization will begin in advance of IRE at the 7th Annual National Women in Roofing Days, February 4-5, 2024.

All attendees of IRE are invited to visit the Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions’ booth. To explore the full suite of Westlake Royal Roofing Solution’s clay, concrete, steel, composite, and components roofing solutions, visit westlakeroyalroofing.com.
