ARMA Announces Schedule of Events for 2nd Virtual Asphalt Roofing Recycling Forum

The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) announced its 2nd Virtual Asphalt Roofing Recycling Forum, scheduled for October 24, 2023. This year’s theme is “Asphalt Roofing Recycling: The Path to Innovation,” which promises to be a dynamic and educational event for industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts alike.

The forum will bring together experts, thought leaders, and stakeholders from various sectors to explore the latest advancements, strategies, and opportunities in asphalt roofing recycling. Attendees can expect a diverse program that includes keynote presentations, informative sessions, and engaging panel discussions. Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect:

 

Keynote Presentation

  • Esteemed speakers from Arizona State University – Dr. Ellie Fini, Dr. Kamil Kaloush, and Dr. Hasan Ozer.

 

30-Minute Sessions

  • “Low Slope Recycling” – Sam Flanery, American Classic.
  • “Flat Roofing/Low Slope Bitumen Recycling” – Dr. Hans Aerts, BMI Group.
  • “Using Chemistry to Make and Upcycle Roofing Asphalts – Research Trends” – Dr. Jeramie Adams, Western Research Institute.
  • “Asphalt Roofing Recycling Opportunities in California” – Tom Pyle, Caltrans.

 

Panel Discussion
