Celebrating its 40th anniversary, IIBEC will return to Houston, Texas, for the 2023 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, March 3–6. Building enclosure professionals from across North America and more than 110 exhibitors will come together with educators and experts for the industry’s premier event.
“We look forward to celebrating IIBEC’s 40th anniversary with building enclosure consultants and industry leaders,” said Brian Pallasch, executive vice president and chief executive officer at IIBEC. “Our great speakers, education sessions, and networking opportunities make our international convention and trade show the leading event for building enclosure consultants and industry professionals.”
Attendees will be able to explore the latest products and services from exhibitors during the two-day trade show, March 4–5.
“Exhibitor enthusiasm is high for the 2023 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, with new products and services that attendees will want to see firsthand,” said Mendy Cunningham, director of events and meetings at IIBEC. “We can’t wait for attendees to experience the best trade show the building-enclosure industry has to offer.”
The convention also includes 13 hours of live, in-person educational seminars, starting Friday, March 3, with two auxiliary seminars, “Use of UAS and Reality Capture Technology in Transforming the Future of Enclosure Assessment” and “Hazard Identification and Solutions for Compliance with Rooftop Fall Protection Regulations.”
The next generation of building enclosure professionals will be represented by up to 40 student attendees at the 2023 IIBEC Convention and Trade Show, thanks to the support of the RCI-IIBEC Foundation and RCI Foundation Canada. The RCI-IIBEC Foundation will host the golf tournament this year and a live auction and reception on Monday, March 6. All proceeds will go to support the foundations’ student programs.
During the opening ceremony on Saturday, March 4, keynote speaker Seth Mattison, chief executive officer of FutureSight Labs, will share his insights into the future of work and leadership. The Jersey Tenors will provide entertainment during the president’s annual banquet on March 6.
“We’re looking forward to seeing our members in Houston for a great time of learning, networking, and building the future of building enclosure consulting” said IIBEC President Chris Giffin.
