By promoting interdisciplinary sharing across the firm’s core practice areas – multi-family housing, mixed-use, laboratory, retail, restaurant, and senior living – advancements in one area will benefit another, and in turn, enable MBH’s clients to have some of the most future-forward built environments in the world.

“Having practiced most of my career in the Bay Area, it is great to be able to join the team at MBH Architects,” says Dries-Daffner. “My love for architecture and my passion for design brought me to this new role in operations, and I am excited to be a part of an ambitious team that has already proven it can set and achieve big goals.” 

After working as an architect across multi-disciplinary environments for more than 25 years, Dries-Daffner is inspired by the transformative nature of design. He strives to upgrade and create spaces that didn’t previously exist and to make the world a better place. His built projects span eight countries across Central America, North America, and Asia. He is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute, and serves as an Advisory Board member for UC Berkeley’s Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA).
