EYP Architecture & Engineering announced that Eric Kern, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, was promoted to Senior Project Director, Behavioral Health.

In this role, he provides leadership and growth for EYP’s Behavioral Health practice, employing his passion for designing spaces that foster healing and recovery for some of society’s most vulnerable people.

Kern has 25 years of experience in behavioral health planning and project management, much of it working side-by-side with some of the nation’s leading psychiatric clinicians and hospital directors to continually improve the therapeutic nature of design.

A member of the Construction Specifications Institute and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, he speaks nationally on Behavioral Health design, and has been published in many magazines and trade journals.
