YKK AP Appoints New Executive VP and GM of Erie Architectural Products Group

YKK AP America Inc. (YKK AP), a leading manufacturer of award-winning commercial facade systems and residential doors and windows, today announced Ramsey Fadel as executive vice president and general manager of subsidiary, Erie Architectural Products Group (Erie AP).

Fadel will now oversee day-to-day operations for Erie AP. He succeeds founder and president of Erie AP, Ron Stronks, who will retire from day-to-day operations to serve as a management consultant and continuing member of Erie Architectural Products Board of Directors, where he will provide invaluable strategic insight.

Fadel has more than 25 years of strategic leadership experience within the manufacturing industry, ranging from quality assurance to operations to plant management. As vice president of manufacturing operations for Erie AP, Fadel successfully improved manufacturing processes and workflows to further enhance the company’s project business and drive success for customers. Prior to joining Erie AP, Fadel led and managed all plant operations, maintenance, staff functions, and resources for Hydro Extrusion Canada. Fadel also served as general manager of Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Inc. for 13 years, where he led all sales and manufacturing processes.

In addition to Fadel’s appointment, Tim Thomas, vice president of technical services, has been promoted to Erie AP’s executive management team where he will assume the position of senior vice president of sales operations and oversee business development, engineering, project management and overall front-end business operations. Martin Gray, account manager, has been promoted to national sales manager, where he will work closely with customers to ensure success through oversight of project solutions and business development activities.
