FCA Announces New Manager in New York Office

Liz Archer
March 20, 2020

Francis Cauffman Architects (FCA), a leading full-service architecture and design firm based in Philadelphia and New York, is pleased to announce that Liz Archer has joined the team as Business Development and Client Relations Manager. Based in New York, Archer will be responsible for increasing the New York office’s corporate interiors market share as well as manage business development for the location’s healthcare, science and technology, medical equipment planning, urban planning, and higher education markets.

With over 26 years of experience in marketing, affirmative action compliance, and administration for top design and construction firms across New York and New Jersey, Archer will bring her 360-degree perspective of the dynamics that drive this industry to create successful client relationships. Inheriting a passion for the field of architecture and design through her studies, Archer has always been fascinated and excited by the many branches within the industry.

“I was thrilled at the opportunity to help lead the charge in growing Francis Cauffman Architects’ impressive New York office,” says Archer on her decision to join the firm. “FCA has an exceptional record of supporting and being responsive to both their clients and employees—a key factor in my decision to join the team.”

Having managed her own business—Archer was Founder and President of Out of the Box Marketing Strategies—she understands how an entrepreneurial spirit can lend itself to an innovative work style that inspires and enlivens others. Always up for a challenge, Archer is at her happiest when she is able to serve as a mentor to others and work on projects where a solution-oriented approach is key to its success.

“It is exciting to have the opportunity to work alongside Liz,” says John Campbell, President of FCA. “She has a proven track record of success not only on high profile projects, but also helping to elevate her teams.”

Archer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology and a Marketing Certificate from New York University. She has previously served on the AIA New York Chapter’s marketing and PR committee, and was a Governor on the Board of Trustees of the New York Building Foundation. In addition, Archer is a former Women Builders Council Outstanding Woman of the Year Award winner. She is an active contributor to the New York chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, CoreNet Global - NYC and NJ Chapters and the NJ and NY Chapters of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP).

As FCA continues to evolve, the firm has  its vision, enhanced its quality, and defined a clear path to delivering exceptional work for clients—reinforcing its reputation as a leading name in the corporate workplace, healthcare, academic research, science and technology, and advanced technology sectors. Archer joins the firm at an exciting time, as it continues its growth along the east coast, having recently opened a new Orlando office.
