ATAS Receives Three MCA Triumph Awards

ATAS
November 1, 2017

ATAS International and their employees are honored to be the recipients of three MCA Triumph Awards presented at METALCON in Las Vegas.

Dick Bus, President of ATAS International, received the Industry Champion of the Year award, due to the great overall impact he has had in advancing the metal construction industry.  Bus is the current President of the Metal Roofing Alliance, and is a former President of the Metal Construction Association.  He has been involved in several industry associations and has held numerous positions on various boards and committees.  Bus stated, “The continued expansion of metal in construction has always been very important to me.  I am honored to receive this MCA Triumph Award.  ATAS is also a strong supporter of other employees’ association involvement for the continued growth and education of the entire industry.”

ATAS received a Corporate Citizen of the Year award.  Due to their commitment to bettering the world outside of their normal business through their involvement and dedication to numerous causes and charities, the awards committee chose ATAS for this honor.  ATAS and their employees have made a notable contribution to the quality of life of others in their community, as well as nationwide and worldwide.  Jim Bus, Vice President of ATAS, stated, “ATAS has a long-standing commitment to corporate citizenship and is a shared value of the company.  Through our employee volunteer efforts, corporate financial support, and employee financial support, those numerous activities have enhanced the lives of other citizens.”

Chris Kroeter is the ATAS Product Representative for Metro New York, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey.  He received an Industry Salesperson of the Year award, in recognition of a sales professional who has had the greatest impact on their company.  He is recognized by peers, customers, and others as a customer relationship-builder and has a successful and consistent sales record.  Kroeter was also named the ATAS Salesperson of the Year for 2016 earlier this year; the third time in the past seven years that he has won that award.  “I was very honored to receive this MCA Triumph Award at METALCON.  It reflects on the fantastic team effort by everyone at ATAS in helping to serve our customers and grow our business,” says Kroeter.
