Studio Four Design has hired Erin Metelka as an interior designer.

Metelka, a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a bachelor of science in interior design, brings experience from architectural firms in Memphis and Knoxville to her position with Studio Four Design.

“The best part of working with Studio Four is definitely the people,” Metelka said. “Studio Four has an amazing culture in the office that is very supportive of exploration and new ideas – respecting the different generations within the office and their work styles. I really have a familial relationship with everyone in the office.”

Metelka specializes in various aspects of interior design including health care, education, and corporate.

“Erin hit the ground running with us,” said Stacy Cox, president of Studio Four Design. “She is a very talented designer and brings exceptional experience with her that strengthens our team. She really fits in well within our culture and has quickly become a valuable member of our team. I see a lot of potential in what she can do for our company and our clients moving forward.”

Metelka has already contributed her skills to projects at Studio Four. She is currently working on a school project for a local municipality, a new headquarters for a credit union in a nearby community and a major manufacturing facility expansion also located in East Tennessee.

“I really enjoy seeing projects progress during construction and come to life,” Metelka said. “I have been fortunate enough to use both the creative and analytical sides of my brain when working on projects. I love puzzles – so design is like dealing with a different puzzle every day.”
